The club organizes year-round activities. Members must contact the relevant organizer to participate — sign in to the members area for the calendar and RSVP.
Sunday Shoots
Recurring trap and skeet practice sessions throughout the season — typically every two weeks from May through November. Members $5 per round, non-members $8. Bring your own shotgun, ammunition, food, and drinks.
We play P-I-G: think hangman with a 12-gauge. Sunday Shoots require a minimum number of confirmed attendees to proceed. Members RSVP through the dashboard.
Internal / External Competition (June)
Our formal annual competition. Trap, skeet, rifle, and pistol events — open to members and outsiders. Competitions begin at 10:00 a.m. Late arrivals cannot enter events that have started.
Inter-Club Invitationals
The club regularly participates in tournaments alongside other Latvian and Lithuanian clubs in southern Ontario.
Work / Clean-Up Days (April)
Spring property maintenance at Berzaine. Help the club, breathe fresh air, and stay for lunch.
Annual General Meeting (April)
Our spring members’ meeting at Berzaine, concluding with lunch and a “mini” turkey shoot.
Camp Sidrabene
Counselor training program for youth, in partnership with Latvian community organizations.
Fishing
The club historically ran a “bragging rights” fishing competition for members. Submissions are sent with weight, length, girth, and a photo with a ruler. We are exploring a renewed fishing tournament — contact the executive committee if interested.
